TISCO joins price hiking companies

Indian major steel producer Tata Iron and Steel Co. (TISCO) announced a price increase ranging between Rupees 1'000-1'500/ton ($22-33/ton) in spot steel prices, mainly due to rising input costs. Hot rolled coil price will reach almost Rupees 22'000/ton ($483/ton) level. The price hike that represents a 7.3% increase compared to current price level will be effective from January onwards.
