Tianjin Pipe produces X70 grade steel pipe for gas storage projects

China-based Tianjin Pipe (Group) Co. (TPCO) has announced that it has produced X70 grade steel pipe used in gas storage, thereby expanding its product range.

Initial production has been earmarked for the Hutubi gas storage project in Xinjiang and the Liaohe gas storage project in Liaoning Province. The steelmaker has already finished shipment to the Hutubi gas storage project. Meanwhile, it has produced most of the 2,448 mt of X70 pipes which were ordered for the Liaohe gas storage project.
