The new service center will produce 125,000 mt of hot and cold rolled coils and coated slit strips per year, and will be serving customers in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belarus, Hungary and Ukraine.

The new facility will include a slitting line to process flat rolled steel from ThyssenKrupp Steel products into strips of 0.4 to 4.00 mm in thickness and of 25 to 1,800 mm in width.

The new service center in Poland will allow ThyssenKrupp to ensure faster service for its main customers in the Eastern European market.
