Thai Tinplate Manufacturing to increase production

According to recent news in the market, Thai Tinplate Manufacturing (TTM) is planning to increase it production capacity with an investment of Baht 1.7 billion ($41.7 million). Through the investment, the annual tinplate production of the company is aimed to be increased by 150'000 tons. Annual capacity of the mill is currently 360'000 tons. The company officials stated that they decided to increase capacity with the purpose of meeting strong demand. The expansion project is scheduled to be completed by 2006.
