Thai G Steel to increase revenue

Thailand's second-largest hot rolled steelmaker by capacity G Steel PCL expects both sales and net profit to rise around 5-10% this year due to the government's plans for infrastructure projects over the next four years. G Steel's sales is expected to increase even more in 2007 as the company aims to complete a $250 million expansion project. The company's revenue is likely to double from $550 million this year to around $1.2 billion in the next two years due to the capacity expansion. G Steel will increase its annual hot rolled steel capacity by 1.6 million tons to 3.4 million tons in 2007.
