Tenaris to supply welded line pipes for natural gas project in Brazil

Luxembourg-based steel tube producer Tenaris has announced that it will supply 83,000 mt of high-grade welded line pipe and tubular accessories to Norway-based petroleum refining company Equinor for the natural gas project BM-C-33 in Brazil.

The project is expected start production in 2028 and the natural gas will be exported through a 200 km export pipeline to Cabiúnas, in the city of Macaé. The gas volumes from BM-C-33 may represent up to 15 percent of the total natural gas demand in Brazil.
