Tenaris registers 43 percent decline in Q1 net profit

Italian steel pipe producer Tenaris has announced that in the first quarter of this year it registered a 43 percent year-on-year decrease in its net profit to $222.2 million. Meanwhile, its revenues for the period amounted to $1.638 billion, down 33 percent compared to Q1 2009.
