Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Group (Tangsteel) has produced 60 mt of eco-friendly non-zinc coated
galvanized sheet via passivation treatment at its
galvanized line No. 1. After testing, all indicators have met the requirements of customers, both domestic and foreign.
The products in question are in line with the EU ROHS (Restrictions on Certain Hazardous Substances) environmental protection standards, boosting the prospects of the non-zinc coated steel products of Tangsteel in the European and North American markets.
