Tangsteel produces 1.29 million mt of crude steel in January

According to Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group, in January this year its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Group (Tangsteel) produced 1.34 million mt of pig iron, 1.29 million mt of crude steel and 1.26 million mt of finished steel.

Meanwhile, in January Tangsteel produced 160,000 mt of cold rolled sheet, with its shipments of cold rolled sheet to the export market totaling 109,000 mt in the given month.
