Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that in the January-April period of the current year its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. (Tangsteel) exported 1.39 million mt of finished steel, equivalent to over 30 percent of its total finished steel production in the given period.
In the January-April period this year, Tangsteel's finished steel exports included 505,000 mt of cold rolled flat products, 545,000 mt of hot rolled flat products, 296,000 mt of long steel and 44,000 mt of medium plates.
