During the first four months of the current year, Hebei-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Steel exported over 30,000 mt of CRC produced in hood-type annealing furnaces. The company has received export orders amounting to 19,000 mt for the product in question so far in May.

At the same time, Tangshan Steel has reported that in the current month up to May 20 it produced over 5,200 mt of SAE 1006 hot rolled coils specifically for foreign customers. SAE 1006 HRC, a low carbon steel and produced according to American standard, has a greater profit margin as compared with common SS400 HRC.
