Central China's Hebei Province-based Tangshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd has recently succeeded in producing CSA 275gr/zinc galvanized material in accordance with US standard. Several difficulties have to be surmounted in this production. Firstly, the zinc coating thickness of 275gr/ m² is twice to triple the thickness of usual products. Secondly, the steel substrate is rather thin with an average thickness of 0.45 mm. Thirdly, production must be in line with US standard, according to which the tolerance of the product must be narrowed to a quarter of that of conventional products.

With the aim of developing this kind of product, the company organized a research group to achieve an extremely strict production procedure, implement precision control and ensure the quality of the steel substrates. The first batch of luminous galvanized coils has been delivered on schedule.
