Tangshan Stainless Steel targets monthly output of over 10,000 mt

After successful trial rolling at its hot rolled stainless steel mill in November 2009, Chinese producer Tangshan Stainless Steel has started to book orders for products from the mill. The steelmaker's orders for the first quarter of 2010 have already reached 5,000 mt, with 400 series accounting for 72.43 percent, 200 series accounting for 26.16 percent, and HR 304 for 1.41 percent. The company has stated that from April it aims to increase the capacity of the mill, targeting a monthly output in excess of 10,000 mt.
