Steel Rebar Manufacturing, LLC will receive $750,000 from the Hurricane Ike Disaster Recovery Program for its new Centerville, Illinois plant, according to an announcement Wednesday by Governor Pat Quinn. Steel Rebar will use the funds for building costs and to purchase equipment for the new facility.

Illinois received $169 million in federal funding following Hurricane Ike in September 2008, with most being allocated to projects that support improvements to infrastructure and support job creation in the especially hard-hit construction sector.
