Steel prices decrease in Pakistan

The slow demand has led to 15-20% decreases in the prices of steel products in Pakistan since March. According to the traders, the fall in the steel demand of the country is ordinary for March and April every year but the increase in the output of steel mills led to the decrease in prices. Furthermore, the beginning of the talks between Pakistan and India to normalize the commercial relations between the countries has also had an affect on the decreases. Traders expect the prices to rally in June with the beginning of the construction season.
