Stainless steel facility to be commissioned in Fujian in Q1 2013

The Fuxin stainless steel project of Taiwan-based Formosa Plastic Group being built in Zhangzhou in China's Fujian Province will be commissioned in the first quarter of next year, according to Fujian Daily.
 
Construction work on the Fuxin stainless steel project, the largest stainless steel project in Fujian, started in April 2010. Investment in the project is expected to total $1.8 billion, for a designed annual output capacity of 1.8 million mt of cold rolled stainless steel products. The anticipated annual output value is expected to reach RMB 15 billion ($2.38 billion).
