South Korea’s new car registrations up 30.8 percent in January

In January this year, South Korea's new car registrations rose 15.8 percent month on month and were up 30.8 percent year on year to 12,345 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

In the whole of 2012 South Korean new car registrations had risen by 24.6 percent to 130,858 units compared to 2011.
