In May this year, South Korea’s new car registrations rose by 2.1 percent month on month and fell by 9.2 percent year on year to 21,339 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).
Meanwhile, in the January-May period this year, South Korean new car registrations declined by four percent year on year to 103,933 units.
