Bulgaria's largest steel mill Kremikovtzi has begun dialogue over its eventual acquisition with the Ukrainian company Smart Group, a part of Rinat Akhmetov's Metinvest Holding, which has shown interest in running the insolvent steel mill and has said that it is ready to start supplying Kremikovtzi with raw materials.

Moreover, as the leader of the KNSB trade union Vasil Yanachkov said, Kremikovtzi is to pay delayed salaries to its workers by the end of today, Tuesday.
