Shougang takes control of Shanxi-based Changgang

Shougang Iron & Steel Group is to purchase a 58.29 percent stake in Shanxi-based Changzhi Iron & Steel Group (Changgang) at a cost of RMB 408 million.

In addition, the remaining state-owned stake in Changgang will be transferred to Shougang for free. The deal will thus grant Shougang total control of Changgang.
