Chinese steel producer Shougang Steel Group has commissioned
production at a newly-established steel company Shougang-Kaixi Iron and Steel Co. Ltd in Xiamen in the southeastern Chinese province of Fujian.
Shougang-Kaixi Iron and Steel is a joint venture of Shougang Steel and Fujian-based Kaixi Steel Group. It will specialize in the
production of high-end steel plates with a designed annual
production capacity of 1 million mt.
