Shougang sees reduced operating revenue in 2015

Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Iron and Steel Co. (Shougang) has announced in its annual report that in 2015 it registered an operating revenue of RMB 17.843 billion ($2.76 billion), down 25.61 percent year on year, with a net loss of RMB 1.14744 billion ($0.18 billion) compared to the net profit of RMB 62.64 million recorded in 2014.

In its previous preliminary annual report, Shougang had stated that it expected to record a net loss in the range of RMB 800-1000 million ($123.84-154.80 million) for 2015.
