Shougang registers 42.26% net profit increase in H1 2008

In the first half of the current year, Chinese steelmaker Shougang achieved a 13.6 percent growth in its prime operating revenue reaching RMB 13.401 billion ($1.96 billion), and also posted a net profit of RMB 551 million ($80 million), up 42.26 percent year on year.
