Shougang Group speeds up research and development for auto sheet

Chinese steelmaker Shougang Group has announced that in January this year it developed five new varieties of high-strength steel sheets for automobiles, achieving an automotive sheet output of 28,500 mt in the month of January, up 5,500 mt compared with last December and rising by 28,000 mt year on year. In February, the producer's automotive sheet output had reached 19,000 mt by February 20.
