Shigang develops high-sulfur free-cutting YMn40 grade steel plate

Chinese steel producer Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co. (Shigang), a subsidiary of Hebei Steel Group, has announced that it has developed production of high-sulfur free-cutting Y40Mn grade steel plate, with sulfur content in a range of 0.20-0.30 percent. In tests, the product satisfied all quality standard requirements.
