Shaoguan Steel hikes its ex-factory prices

On January 29, Guangdong Province-based Shaoguan Steel hiked its ex-factory prices. The details are as follows:

The price of medium plate has risen RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). After the adjustment, the new price of 14-20 mm is now at RMB 5,100/mt ($708/mt) in Guangzhou.

The prices of rebar and round bar have remained stable, and so the price of 18-25 mm HRB 335 is still at RMB 4,750/mt ($660/mt).

Wire rod prices have remained unchanged, with the price of 6.5 mm Q235 remaining at RMB 4,820/mt ($669/mt).

The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of January 22.
