Shangang Group produces 23.8 million mt of crude steel in 2011

Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shangang Group has announced that in 2011 it produced 23.8 million mt of crude steel, 24.9 million mt of pig iron and 22.8 million mt of finished steel.

Meanwhile, in terms of operating revenue, in 2011 Shangang Group ranked 73rd among China's Top 500 enterprises and eighth among domestic iron and steel enterprises.
