Shagang successfully produces silicon steel

SteelOrbis Shanghai On June 25, 2006, Jiangsu province based Jiangsu Shagang Group Co. Ltd successfully completed the trial run of its new silicon steel line. During the trial run, the mill produced silicon steel for the first time in its history. 2.2 mm x 1,010 mm sized silicon steel production of the mill is an example to the efforts to increase high value added steel production in China.
