On December 21, the Jiangsu Province-based steelmaker
Shagang announced its latest ex-factory prices for long products, making no changes from the previous levels. The details are as follows:
1.
Rebar prices remain unchanged. The price of 14-25 mm diameter HRB335 is still RMB 3,100/mt ($397).
2. High speed
wire rod prices have also remained unchanged. The price of 6.5 mm diameter Q235 is still RMB 3,300/mt ($423).
The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective from December 21 to December 31, 2006.
