Shagang ITC sees 70 percent rise in finished steel exports in Jan-Apr

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese trading company Shagang International Trade Co. (Shagang ITC), a subsidiary of Chinese steelmaker Shagang, has announced that it exported 927,900 mt of finished steel produced by Shagang in the January-April period of the current year, earning sales revenues of $613 million, increasing by 69.82 percent and 57.46 percent year on year, respectively. In April alone, Shagang ITC's exports of finished steel from Shagang totaled 327,300 mt, worth $217 million.

Shagang ITC is aiming to export 2.33 million mt of finished steel products in the current year.
