Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that its Cherepovets Steel Mill has entered into another agreement to supply rolled steel for the production of the Nissan Almera car model. First deliveries were launched in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Nissan Almera cars are produced in Togliatti in Russia's Samara region on a production line built within the framework of the cooperation between Renault-Nissan and AvtoVAZ Alliance. Cold rolled steel produced by Severstal will be used in the production of internal and external parts of Nissan Almera cars.

Deliveries of rolled steel under this latest agreement were launched in July this year and will last until March 2014.
