Severstal inks deal to supply rolled steel to Tikhvin wagon works

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that it will supply rolled steel to the Tikhvin wagon works of Russia-based United Wagon Company.

The companies have signed an agreement for the supply of rolled steel for the period from March to December of this year. In general, according to the agreement, about 88,000 mt of rolled steel will be delivered to the plant before the end of 2015.

In 2014, Severstal's rolled steel supplies to Tikhvin wagon works increased by almost three times compared to 2013 to over 90,000 mt.
