Russian steelmaker Severstal’s subsidiary Cherepovets Steel Mill has announced that it has completed the overhaul of sintering machine No. 10 at its sinter shop No. 3.
According to the company’s statement, following repairs and investments in technical reequipment, the output of the overhauled sinter shop No. 3 will increase by 190,000 mt per year. Meanwhile, the total cost of the technical reequipment amounted to more than RUB 400 million ($6.78 million), of which RUB 100 million was spent on equipment repairs.
