Schmolz+Bickenbach discusses distribution units sale with Jacquet Metal

Swiss-based special steel producer and distributor Schmolz+Bickenbach has announced that it has entered into exclusive discussions with Jacquet Metal Service, a leading European special steel distributor, on sale of specific distribution units in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria.
 
In December 2014, the company decided to keep its European distribution units since it found that the offered purchase price for the distribution activities did not reflect the value of the affected distribution activities.
