S. Korea's steel imports exceed exports

South Korea reported that the country's steel imports surpassed exports in 2005 for the fourth consecutive due to the increase in imports of cheap Chinese steel. South Korea Iron & Steel Association disclosed that the country's steel imports amounted to 18.87 million tons while steel exports reached 16.26 million tons.
