Ruukki seeks to cut jobs in construction business

Finland-based steelmaker Ruukki has announced that its construction business will start employer-employee negotiations aimed at improving its operational efficiency.

The negotiations will be held regarding possible workforce reductions and temporary layoffs and will affect 69 salaried and senior salaried employees in the company's building projects and infrastructure construction organizations in Finland. There is a need to reduce the workforce by an estimated maximum of 13 persons.
