Russia’s Tulachermet stops BF No. 2 for overhaul

The world's largest producer of merchant pig iron, Russia's Tulachermet, has announced the stoppage of its blast furnace No. 2 for scheduled repair work.

The overhaul at Tulachermet includes the repair of the BF's main equipment and is expected to continue for eight days.

Moreover, during the current quarter, Tulachermet also plans the overhaul of its BF No. 3. Operations at this furnace are to be stopped on November 12 for a period of 18 days.
