Russia's stainless steel exports down 15.7 percent in Sept from Aug

Russia’s stainless steel exports in September this year decreased by 15.7 percent month on month to 445,000 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association.
 
In September, stainless flat steel product exports increased by 25.9 percent to 102 mt, stainless long steel products exports increased by 13.8 percent to 132 mt and exports of electric welded stainless steel pipes went up by 106.9 percent to 60 mt, all month on month.
 
Only seamless stainless pipes exports went down in the given month, falling 54.1 percent month on month to 135 mt. The main exporters of seamless stainless pipes from Russia in September were Pervouralsk NTZ with 50 percent of the total export volume, Impex with 29 percent of the total export volume, and TMK-Inox with five percent.
