Russia's long stainless steel imports up 23.2 percent in Jan-Sept

Russian imports of long stainless steel products in the January-September period this year increased by 23.2 percent to 22,932 mt, worth a total of $8.06 million, up 9.9 percent, both year on year, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association.

In particular, in the given period imports of long stainless steel cold rolled products increased by 24.8 percent, imports of long stainless steel hot rolled products increased by 32.6 percent, stainless bar imports declined by 11.2 percent, and stainless steel angle imports moved up by 48.7 percent, all year-on-year basis.
