Russia’s Kuzbassrazrezugol announces Jan-Nov operational results

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has issued its operational results for November and for the first eleven months of 2009.

Accordingly, in November Kuzbassrazrezugol fulfilled its production plan for the month at the rate of 100.3 percent, producing about 3.95 million of coal, including 238,000 mt of coking coal. Meanwhile, in the first eleven months of 2009, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal output amounted to about 42.23 million mt - down eight percent year on year, including about 2.5 million mt of coking coal - down 45 percent year on year.

In January-November this year, Kuzbassrazrezugol's deliveries of coking coal amounted to 2.55 million mt - down 37.5 percent compared to the same period last year.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, Kuzbassrazrezugol's production plan for 2009 targets an output of 46 million mt of coal, including 2.05 million mt of coking coal.
