Inprom, one of Russia's leading independent steel service networks, has announced the installation of new Colgar guillotine lines for sheet and plate cutting at its Izhevsk and Samara branches.

"Cutting of flat products is in high demand at the present time. At our centers we cut large sheets and plates up to three meters in length and from one to 20 mm in gauge. We can boast of minimum cutting imprecision and high quality cut-surface," Inprom operations director Artur Ilyin stated.

In addition, in spring 2009 Inprom plans the installation and commissioning of Colgar guillotine lines at its Krasnoyarsk branch. "This service range enables our clients not only to obtain high quality billet and sections, but also to save time and to cut down on expenditure, as well as to get rid of steel discard problems," added Mr. Ilyin.
