Russia’s Ashinskiy sees net profit rise in H1

In April-June of the current year, the net profit of Russian steelmaker Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works (Ashinskiy) decreased by more than two times compared to the previous quarter, declining to RUB 111.24 million ($3.489 million). In the January-June period of the current year, the net profit of the company doubled on year-on-year basis to RUB 344.886 million ($10.8 million).

Meanwhile, in Q2, Ashinskiy's sales revenues decreased by 14 percent quarter on quarter to RUB 3.76 billion ($117.9 million). In H1, the company's sales revenues decreased by six percent year on year to RUB 8.11 billion ($254.4 million).
