Russian semi-finished steel exports down 9.3 percent in 2013

In 2013, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 9.3 percent year on year to 13.41 million mt, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In December alone, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products increased by 14.2 percent compared to November, to 1.41 million mt.

As previously reported, in January-November 2013 Russia had exported 12 million mt of semi-finished steel products, down 11.5 percent compared to the same period of 2012.
