Russian scrap exports decline by 3.2 percent in January-July

In July of the current year, Russia exported 510,000 mt of scrap, up 11.5 percent compared to July 2011 but decreasing by one percent compared to June this year, according to the country's customs statistics.

In the January-July period of the current year, Russian exports of scrap decreased by 3.2 percent year on year to 2.86 million mt, and included 1.12 million mt for Turkey, 700,000 mt for Belarus and 316,000 mt for South Korea.
