Russian quota utilization for Ukraine

According to the information issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, in the period from July 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008, Ukraine supplied 200,000 metric tons of cold rolled steel to Russia, utilizing 100 percent of its quota (covering the period from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008), under the quota agreement between the two countries.

According to the agreement signed between Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine's yearly quota for cold rolled exports to Russia stands at 200,000 metric tons for the 12 months from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008.

Meanwhile, in the first three months of 2008 Ukraine utilized 15.44 percent of its 2008 annual quota for rebar exports to Russia, supplying a total of 50,961 metric tons.

The yearly quota for Ukrainian rebar exports to Russia in 2008 is 330,000 metric tons.
