Russian metallurgical firms receive more scrap in Mar compared to Feb

According to Russian Railway statistics, in March this year direct supplies of scrap to Russian metallurgical companies and pipe plants totaled 1.1 million mt, down 4.7 percent year on year but up 49 percent compared to February. In Q1 this year, Russian companies received 2.48 million mt of scrap supplieis, down 15.4 percent compared to Q1 2011.
