Russian coal production almost stable in January-October

In the January-October period of the current year, coal production in Russia decreased by 0.03 percent year on year to 287.3 million mt, according to Russia's Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy sector.

In the January-October period this year, Russian coal exports increased by 9.62 percent year on year to 127.8 million mt. Supplies to the internal market declined by 5.4 percent year on year to 135.6 million mt. Supplies to electric power plants decreased by 8.9 percent year on year to 65.4 million mt.
