Russia-based Ashinskiy’s Q3 net loss down 28 percent from Q2

In the July-September quarter of the current year, the net loss of Russian steelmaker Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works (Ashinskiy) decreased by 28 percent compared to the previous quarter, declining to RUB 118 million ($3.6 million). In the January-September period of the current year, the net loss of the company amounted to RUB 526.1 million ($16.158 million), compared to a net profit of RUB 248 million ($7.617 million) in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, in the third quarter this year Ashinskiy's sales revenues increased by 4.2 percent quarter on quarter to RUB 3.318 billion ($101.906 million). In January-September, the company's sales revenues decreased by 22 percent year on year to RUB 9.4 billion ($288.7 million).
