Russia ups steel pipe output

Russia's Federal State Statistics Service disclosed that the country's steel pipe output rose 8.8 percent year on year to 6.06 million tons in the first eleven months of the year. The 11-month production includes 2.54 million tons of seamless pipe with an increase 3.7 percent and 3.33 million tons of ERW pipes with an increase of 12.6 percent. In November alone, Russia's pipe production rose 29.6 percent year on year to 590,000 tons. However, November production indicates a month-on-month decrease of 2.8 percent.
