Russia likely to impose AD on SS flat products from EU

According to a statement released by Russia's Economic Development and Trade Ministry (MERT), Moscow is likely to impose anti-dumping duty on nickel-containing stainless steel flat rolled products imported from the European Union (EU). A MERT official indicated that a recommendation regarding the issue would be submitted to the government soon. Sources report that Russian nickel-containing flat rolled steel producer Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Combine, a Mechel Steel Group company, submitted a petition last year, claiming that the sales of subject merchandise imported from the EU were made at lower prices in Russia causing material injury to Russian industry.
